We had art time today
Weather forced a pivot
Cool to watch them create

She painted the flowers first and then watched me do mine and worked that water technique into her next two. The bottom right is a meadow with three fingered avens and buffalo beans. It just warms my heart that she’s absorbed so much from our time together.

He painted the dandelion and evergreen tree first. Then it was on to the wheat field where the combine was on fire. So it needed a fire truck to out the flames out. Then he painted a corn field that had a combine and a moose in it. He used both his left and his right hand.

I often don’t find time to “paint” when I have to clean brushes, mix paint, and stop the general chaos from becoming a total disaster. Today, I managed a quick “meadow with wild flowers” and then used up the last of the paint to make a heart. By then, they were on to card making! Moving forward as artists. They have no fear of judgment or self criticism which is so wonderful.

Thanks, Teresa. Cute would be the word I would use. Still chuckling over the combine fire!
